WAEC Digital Certificate: How to Access, Share, and Confirm Your Certificates Online in Simple Steps

The WAEC Digital Certificate platform makes it easy for both current and past candidates to get, share, and check their certificates online. It helps recover lost or damaged certificates and lets institutions and organizations verify certificates securely.

Eligibility: You can access certificates from 1999 to now. Over 30 million certificate holders worldwide can use it. It also supports confirming many certificates at once.

Cost:
– Accessing the platform: N7,500
– Sharing a certificate: N3,500
– Confirming a certificate: N5,000

Steps to Access, Share, and Confirm Your Certificate:

1. Create an Account:
– Click on the “Create Account” button.
– Choose to create an account as either a candidate or an institution/organization.
– Enter the required personal information.
– Confirm your details, agree to the privacy policy, and proceed to sign up.
– Enter the verification code sent to your email and submit it for account verification.
– Log in using your registered email address and password.

2. Access Your Certificate:
– Enter your personal information (name as on the WAEC certificate).
– Verify the information and agree to the Terms of Use.
– Click “Access Certificate” (a fee will be charged).
– Select your payment option: debit card or wallet. Ensure your wallet is funded if using that option.
– View and download your certificate after payment.

3. Share Your Certificate:
– Click on the “Share” tab.
– Select the certificate to share.
– Enter the receiver’s email address and share the certificate (a fee applies).
– Click “Yes” to proceed and choose your payment option.

4. Share with Institutions:
– Click “Request for Confirmation.”
– Select the certificate and fill in the institution’s details.
– Click “Share Certificates” (a fee applies).
– Confirm and choose your payment option.

5. Confirm a Certificate:
– Log in to your WAEC digital certificate account.
– On the confirmation page, enter the required details and verify the information.
– Agree to the Terms of Use and confirm the certificate (a fee applies).
– Enter the phone number verification code and proceed to the payment page.
– Choose your payment option. For bulk confirmations, use the “Bulk Confirmation” button, upload the file with candidates’ details, and agree to the Terms of Use.

6. Recover a Candidate Number:
– On the access certificates page, click “Recover Candidate Number.”
– Follow the instructions, enter required details, and verify information.
– Agree to the Terms of Use and proceed to recover the exam number (a fee applies).
– Select your payment option and complete the process. Ensure your wallet is funded for a successful recovery.

7. Fund Your Wallet:
– On the certificate access page, click the “Wallet” tab.
– Choose “Phone Wallet,” enter the number of units to purchase, and click “Pay” to complete the payment.

8. Make an Inquiry:
– Click your name on the top right corner and select “Inquiry.”
– Enter the category, title, and description of the complaint.
– Submit the inquiry to receive a response.
