UNILAG Student Spends 7 Years in School and Graduates in 2024 with LLB Degree in Law

The man attended University of Lagos (UNILAG), Akoka, and grinned with his LL. A degree of B in Law after seven working years on that campus. Adigun was so excited to be graduating that he had to share his thoughts in a (X)tweet.

In a post last month, Adigun detailed the struggles and triumphs he faced in his prolonged academic pursuit. He also expressed his gratitude for the experiences and lessons he had learnt in UNILAG. The post read, ‘And that’s it with UNILAG. 7 years journey ended today. Thank you god for the people I met, the choices made and lessons learned. LL. B bagged.”

But in a tongue-in-the-cheek manner, Adigun facetiously remarked that his hairline had receded due to the intense process of becoming a lawyer at UNILAG. He wrote; UNILAG finished me! Took my hairline and gave me an LL B, essentially causing me to go bald. His celebration t-shirt even read, “I came with a hairline I left w(L)LL. Download, saving his own light-hearted way of addressing the battles he was fighting.

Many students identify with Adigun and share his sense of a long, arduous path through college but eventual success. His appreciation and sense of humor serve as reminders to the tough skin needed in college survival.
