A groom at a wedding in Solwezi, Zambia, turned the occasion into a moment of fervent prayer for his bride, capturing attention in a viral video.

The groom passionately prayed for his wife, speaking in tongues for nearly a minute while placing his hands on her head. Shared by Zambia News Yathu Media, the footage drew widespread interest. Witnesses described the scene as the groom “casting out demons from the wife” in a packed church.

The bride also participated in the prayer alongside her husband. “I declare right now, let the power fall. Let the anointing fall. Let the anointing for the journey fall upon you,” the groom prayed, eliciting “amen” from the guests.
