UK Based Woman Recounts the Outcome of Sending N10k to Her Friend

A Nigerian lady residing in the UK was left dismayed by her friend’s response after sending her ₦10,000 from abroad. Taking to her Twitter handle, @TitiBamgbelu, she expressed her frustration at her friend’s lack of gratitude.

Despite successfully transferring the money, her friend failed to acknowledge the gesture. Instead, she took to her WhatsApp status to indirectly criticize the amount, subtly mocking “UK people” for sending such a sum.

This ungrateful reaction deeply upset the sender, leading her to reconsider helping others in the future. Her tweet encapsulated her disappointment:
