She reminisced about how she met Seun through his cousin and joined his musical group as a dancer due to her passion for dancing. Despite both being involved with others initially, Seun’s growing interest in her led to them eventually falling for each other and starting a relationship. Yetunde disclosed that her family expressed concerns, likening her fate to one of Fela Kuti’s many wives.

Seun, on the other hand, explained his decision to marry Yetunde after over two decades of dating. He cited the desire to solidify his legacy and provide a stable family for their daughter, Adara Anikulapo-Kuti, as significant factors in their decision to tie the knot.
