Osimhen and Oshoala Among Honorees in 10th Nigeria Pitch Awards, Complete List Revealed

Victor Osimhen, reigning male African Footballer of the Year, leads nominations in four categories at the 10th Nigeria Pitch Awards, as announced by the organisers, SIAO Partners.

The Super Eagles forward stands out among his peers, alongside Super Falcons’ star Asisat Oshoala, and Bayern Leverkusen’s Victor Boniface, with nominations across various categories. Osimhen’s impressive season with Napoli FC has earned him nods for ‘Striker of the Year’, ‘King of the Year’, ‘Sam Okwaraji’, and ‘Sportsmanship of the Year’ awards.

Boniface secured two nominations, while Oshoala received recognition in one category. The nominations were unveiled at a ceremony held at Ibis Hotels in Ikeja, Lagos, marking a significant moment in the 10-year history of the awards. Shina Phillips, President of the Nigeria Pitch Awards, emphasized the importance of the event, highlighting its landmark status in celebrating Nigerian football talent.
