Nigerian Duo Boniface and Tella Infuse Leverkusen’s Dressing Room with Vibrancy Following Historic 1st Win in 119 Years in Bundesliga

Nigerian players Victor Boniface and Nathan Tella are basking in the glory of Bayer Leverkusen’s historic victory in the Bundesliga. The club, founded 119 years ago, secured their first-ever Bundesliga title in the 2023-24 season, with Boniface netting a crucial goal and providing an assist in the decisive match against Werder Bremen.

Following their triumph, Boniface and Tella, alongside their Leverkusen teammates, injected a dose of Nigerian energy into the dressing room celebrations. Viral videos captured the players joyously dancing to the tunes of Flavour’s “Nwa Baby.” Even Dutch stars Jeremy Frimpong and Timothy Fosu-Mensah couldn’t resist joining in the festivities. However, Finnish goalkeeper Lukas Hradecky’s dancing skills sparked humorous reactions from Nigerian fans online.
