Popular gospel artist Moses Bliss mesmerized his home state of Akwa Ibom with his homecoming concert titled ‘The Bliss Experience,’ held on Monday, April 1. The event, graced by Akwa Ibom indigenes including the state governor Pastor Umo Eno, featured performances by Moses Bliss, his wife Marie Wiseborn, Frank Edwards, and other notable figures from the gospel music scene.
During the concert, Moses Bliss shared personal anecdotes from his journey to fame, shedding light on the challenges he faced before achieving success. He recounted times of financial struggle, including a poignant memory of traveling with his mother to Uyo and being unable to afford two bus seats, forcing him to stand for the duration of the journey.
In another heartfelt moment, the acclaimed singer revealed his past experience of selling pure water to make ends meet. Despite these hardships, Moses Bliss encouraged the people of Akwa Ibom not to be deterred by their own challenges, reminding them that they too could rise to prominence and bring pride to their state on a global scale.
