Days after accurately predicting seven AFCON round of 16 matches, Amadu Raheem Komba Gbandeh has stirred up attention with his latest revelation concerning Super Eagles forward Victor Osimhen.
In a Facebook post on Thursday, the Sierra Leonean asserted that Osimhen would score before Nigeria’s departure from the tournament but issued a cautionary note.
Amadu cautioned against allowing Osimhen to take any penalty kicks for the team, suggesting his foresight indicated Osimhen might struggle with spot kicks.
Despite anticipating skepticism, he emphasized: “Super Eagles, Victor Osimen will score before their exit. But please, never allow him to take a spot kick (penalty), not even in penalty shoot-outs. I know you all will ignore this.”
In another post, Amadu clarified that he does not consider himself a prophet, but rather a critical thinker potentially blessed with the knack for analyzing football matches.
He stated, “I am not a prophet. I am just a critical thinker, perhaps blessed with the skills to analyze matches. My predictions were strong convictions which I couldn’t resist. Know this.”
The Super Eagles of Nigeria are set to face Angola in a quarter-final match on Friday, February 2, scheduled for 6:00 pm Nigerian time.
