A TikTok user @fynboilekan’s heart was crushed after learning that his girlfriend was on holiday with another man when he had tried to surprise her. The same man, following his heartache prepared a short video and posted on tiktok where he showed the surprise he had prepared which was a room with beautifully arranged balloons for the occasion that was going to be a great surprise.
But then he took his girlfriend for surprise but unfortunately she was away enjoy the surprise because she was on a vacation with someone else instead of him. Being a scorned lover, the man who goes by the username @fynboilekan burst out saying how hot and hurt it was. At that time of rage and disappointment, he removed the decorating items and burned the exploded balloons.
Expressing sorrow about his girlfriend, he captioned the video, “Fear women guyyyyy” correlating to how he was feeling. And the video featured a text overlay that explained more on the matter in: “The girl I wan surprise dey on vacation with another person. Omo.”
As expected, the said video has been trending and has attracted both positive and negative comments. While some commiserated with a man who was smashed into pieces by his heart, optimally with other helpless men and ideal women, some women, in the main, lampooned the man and even congratulated his mistress.
The popular clip became a conversation starter that emphasized issues of trust and relationships stemmed from the unexpected heartbreak quite a number of people suffer, more at their most vulnerable.
The audience’s reaction was mixed: some of the audience wanted to say more to support the oppressed people and some wanted to criticize this social issue even more.
