The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has clarified that the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) results currently under investigation will be released once the inquiry is concluded.
As reported by Legit, JAMB made this announcement through a tweet on Monday, May 6. It’s worth noting that JAMB recently made public the results of the 2024 UTME.
Professor Ishaq Olarewaju Oloyede, the registrar, revealed that out of the 1,904,189 candidates who took the exam, the results of 64,624 have been withheld for further scrutiny by the board. These results are undergoing various investigations including verification, procedural checks, centre-based reviews, and allegations of exam misconduct.
