JAMB 2024: Buzz Surrounds Release of UTME Results for 7 Students Who “Over-Prayed” During Exam

Worship Minister, Miracle Ifeanyi Moyong, Celebrates Success of Seven Students Who Balanced Prayer and Study During UTME

 

Miracle Ifeanyi Moyong took to Facebook to proudly share the UTME results of seven students who fervently prayed during the JAMB examination period. In his post, Miracle defended the students against critics who deemed their prayers excessive, emphasizing their commitment to both God and their studies.

 

Highlighting the importance of maintaining a balance between prayer and academic diligence, Miracle stressed that one shouldn’t use prayer as an excuse for laziness or academic failure. He listed the impressive UTME scores achieved by the students: Sister Mercy O (292), Brother Shalom (268), Brother H (204), Sister Favour (217), Paul (204), Joshua O (250), and Prosper (244).

 

Miracle’s Facebook post echoed the sentiment that prayer should complement, not hinder, one’s study efforts. He emphasized that during the JAMB season, the students continued with their daily prayers while diligently studying for the exams.

Additionally, Miracle referenced JAMB’s statistics, revealing that only 4.2% of candidates scored 250 and above in the 2024 UTME, further highlighting the remarkable achievement of the seven students.
