First Bank Unveils Fresh Identity for Subsidiary, Citing Enthusiasm

FBNBank Ghana has announced its rebranding to FirstBank Ghana, aiming to establish a unified brand identity within the FirstBank Group. This strategic move mirrors the parent company’s legacy of over 130 years in banking excellence, particularly exemplified by FirstBank Nigeria.

 

In a statement, the bank expressed its commitment to delivering top-notch banking services and solidifying its position as a leading financial institution in Ghana. The decision to adopt the name “FirstBank Ghana” underscores the institution’s dedication to global standards and reflects its aspiration for growth and innovation.

 

The renaming initiative extends across FirstBank Group’s subsidiaries in Africa and Europe, encompassing entities such as FirstBank UK, FirstBank Sierra Leone, FirstBank Gambia, FirstBank DRC, and FirstBank Guinea. Acting Group CEO of FirstBank Group, Olusegun Alebiosu, emphasized that this rebranding initiative is aligned with the group’s overarching objectives, heralding an exciting new chapter for FBNBank Ghana.

 

Victor Yaw Asante, the Managing Director and CEO of First Bank Ghana, expressed confidence that the rebranding effort will enhance the bank’s visibility, credibility, and competitive edge in the market. He emphasized the institution’s unwavering commitment to delivering exceptional value and service excellence to its customers and stakeholders.
