Meanwhile, a big achievement in the cement industry has been made by Dahiru Mangal, a Katsina-born industrialist. His cement plant in Moba, Kogi State, has started producing cement. It aims to compete with big names like Dangote and Lafarge, producing 200 cement trucks daily.

The project started with a $600 million budget but costs went up to $1.5 billion due to currency issues. Mangal partnered with Sinoma from China to build it. The CEO, Fahad Mangal, said the plant will use the latest technology to reduce environmental impact and increase production.

These big cement projects show a trend in Nigeria. Leaders and entrepreneurs are investing in big projects to boost the economy and create jobs. Both Governor Mohammed and Dahiru Mangal are working to strengthen Nigeria’s industry and improve its infrastructure. This signals a bright future for the cement industry in Nigeria.
